Qi Wang received the Undergraduate degree in flight vehicle design and applied mechanics from Beihang University, Beijing, China in 1982 and the Ph.D. degree in general mechanics from Beihang University, Beijing, China in 1996. He is currently a full Professor with the Department of Dynamics and Control, Beihang University, Beijing, China. He is a council of Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, a member of professional institute of dynamics and control under Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, the education working committee and teaching guiding committee for elementary mechanics under the Ministry of Education. He is in charge of a national level excellent course (Theoretical Mechanics) and national excellent teaching team (Team of the elementary mechanics course). He has hosted many national natural science foundations, and published a lot of research papers. He has published one teaching book. He has been honored by the second prize for national level teaching achievement, the first national level teaching teacher award, the third prize of progress of science and technology of the former China Aviation Industry Corporation and Baogang excellent teacher award.
Research field: Dynamics and numerical algorithms of multibody systems.
